Lamorinda Adult Respite Center Support Group

Meeting Time
You are welcome at anytime to join the support group, no reservations or appointments are necessary to attend.

This group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church. The facilitator is Ruth Pease, RN, MSN, EdD.

Open Discussion Except for the following:
August 7 and 21 Open Discussion
September 4 and 18 Open Discussion
October 1 “Making Your Home Safe for a Loved One with Alzheimer’s”

Mission

Facilitator
Ruth Pease is a nurse educator with a specialty in geriatric nursing. Her BSN and MSN are in nursing, and the EdD is in educational psychology. In addition to leading the local support group for caregivers, Dr. Pease is a volunteer at the Lamorinda Adult Respite Center and often is a guest speaker on Alzheimer's topics around the Bay Area. Her own father had Alzheimer's Disease.
