What is Faith Builders?
Faith Builders is our Junior High ministry program for 7th and 8th graders. This program is designed to create opportunities for students to ponder life's biggest questions, develop meaningful friendships, discover the adventure of faith, and have some “serious” fun. (Sometimes parents and other adults ask us if Faith Builders is like “Confirmation Class,” to which we usually say, “It's so much more than just that!”)

  Weekly Workouts
We meet for weekly “Workouts” from 9:40 - 10:30 a.m. on Sundays throughout the school year to study the key stories and teachings of the Bible. Faith Builders quickly discover in our Workouts that the Bible isn't just a “boring old book;” but a library full of stories and poems and songs about very real people and a very amazing God.   Weekend Adventures
The fun doesn't stop on Sunday mornings. Faith Builders “Weekend Adventures” are a blast! Once each quarter during the school year (Fall / Winter / Spring) we gather for an overnight adventure designed to help Faith Builders discover the amazing grace and goodness of God. (The details of each Adventure are a secret. Part of the fun of these events is the discovery of unexpected and eye-opening activities. But we strive to make them friend-friendly and fun!) 

Fall Faith Builders Weekend Adventure
Students who have faithfully participated in our Faith Builders Program are invited to confirm their faith at the end of their 8th grade year in a service called the “Affirmation of Baptism.” This year's Faith Builders will celebrate this service on May 23, 2010.
